Scholarships

All awards and prizes are subject to the following conditions.

  1. The recipient shall have had no antecedent of indiscipline or punishment.
  2. Whenever the recipients are more than one, the amount of the award is shared equally.
  3. In case of disputes, the decision of the Principal/management will be final.

Awards & Prizes :-

1. Varghese Poulose (Anil) memorial Scholarship instituted by Mr. A.V.Poulose.

Amount : Interest of FD for Rs.5000/-
Term : Awarded every year
To : The best student of the Primary Section

Eligibility : Aggregate of Class V annual exam.

  • Should have studied in St.Paul’s from I-V.
  • Should not have repeated in any Class.
  • Should continue to be in Class VI in St.Paul’s.
This Scholarship was given to Suniti for the Year 2010.

2. Venkateshwar Memorial Scholarship instituted by Mrs.Lalitha Krishnan.

Amount : Interest of FD for Rs.10,000/-
Term : Awarded every year.
To : The best student of Class II.

Eligibility : Aggregate of Class II annual exam.

  • Should have studied in class I & II in St.Paul’s.
  • Should not have repeated in any class.
  • Should continue to be in class III in St.Paul’s.
This Scholarship was given to Diksha Yadav for the year 2010.

3. P.M.Thomas and Sarama Thomas Award instituted by late Mr.P.M.Thomas.

Amount : Interest of FD for Rs.32,400/-
Awarded To : a. One student – Cash Prize rs. 1000/-
b. Five students – book Prize
Term : Awarded every year

Eligibility :

  • He/She should be a Christian
  • Should have studied in the school from Class IX- XII without break and without repetition.
  • Should be the highest scorer at the AISSCE Board Exam.
  • Should be one of the first five rank holders of the Annual Exam of all sections of Class IX.
  • Should continue in St.Paul’s in Class X.
  • Should have secured at least 60%.

This award was given to

(b) Joan Ann Mathew, Jemi Thomas, Anisha David, Juliya Elsa Benny & Sheena Cherian for the year 2010.

4. Narayan Scholarship instituted by Mr.P.K.Narayan.

Amount : Interest of FD for Rs.10,000/-
Term : awarded every year.
To : The highest scorer of AISC Exam.

This scholarship was given to Athul Biju for the year 2010.

5. Sminu Thomas Jacob award.

Amount : Interest of FD for Rs.5000/-
Term : Awarded every year
To : The best student for Art or Sketching of Class II

  • Decided by a contest judged by the Art teacher and decided by a committee: Principal (or nominee), vice principal and Art teacher.

This award was given to Nandini Nanda for the year 2010.

6. Silver Jubilee Award instituted by the Management of St.Paul’s School.

Amount : Rs.1000/- each to the three streams of Science, Commerce and Humanities.
Term : Awarded every year.

Eligibility : The highest scorer of the AISSCE Board Exam in each of the three streams.

This award was given to Nandini Biswas, Arushee & Ayush Jain for the year 2010.

7. Nalini Sundaram Award instituted by Mrs.Nalini Sundaram (in kind, preferably Books / Uniform)

Amount : Interest of FD for Rs.10,000/-
Term : Awarded every year
To : A ward of a Class IV employee of the School

Eligibility :

  • The ward should not be a repeater in any Class.
  • The ward should be the top scorer at the annual exam amongst the wards of other employees.
  • The employee should be permanent & not adhoc or on contract or on probation.
This award was given to Tisha Mariam Thomas for the year 2010.

8. Prof. L.M.Srivastava Book Award

Amount : Interest of FD for Rs.5,000/-
Term : Awarded every year.
To : A needy/deserving student of Class XI Science.

This award was given to Antara Malik for the year 2010.

9. Revd. Fr.T.C.Mathai Memorial Endowment Fund Award

Term : Awarded every year.
To : Topper in Class XII AISSCE Board Exam.

Eligibility : Orthodox Church Students.

This award was given to Sarah Cherian for the year 2010.

10. Nimmy Memorial Endowment Trust Award

Amount : Interest of FD for Rs.8000/-
Term : Awarded every year.
To : Topper in Biology of Class XI.

This award was given to Angel Sara George for the year 2010.

11. Deepmala Memorial Award for Indian Music, Talent instituted by Mr. Pushpendra Kalra

Amount : Interest of FD for Rs. 20,000/-
Term : Every year
Eligibility : The best talent in Indian Music

This award was given to Sanskruti Tiwari for the year 2010.
